The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel was established in October 1988. It is the largest national intermediary organization in the textile and apparel import and export industry in China and the world. The CCCT represents more than 10,000 members across the country engaged in the production and import and export of textile fibers, yarns, fabrics, garments, home textiles, industrial textiles and accessories, the annual total trade of which accounts for 70% of China's textile and apparel import and export.
Since its inception, adhering to the principle of “serving the government, industry, and enterprises”, the CCCT has worked to safeguard the interests of the industry and member companies and promote the sustainable development of China's textile and apparel import and export trade. On the one hand, the CCCT improves its service mechanisms to help address the external trade issues confronted by the enterprises. On the other hand, the CCCT endeavors to accomplish all the assignments entrusted by the competent government departments and offers advices and reference for public policy-making. The CCCT is also devoted to restructuring the textile and apparel industry and trade so as to realize its sound and sustainable development. The CCCT serves as a bridge and bond between the government and the enterprises. Meanwhile, it is willing to work together with all the counterparts in the world to establish long-term partnership for a prosperous global trade in textile and apparel.
